Agadir


Agadir is the capital of the region of Sous Massa Draa is located on the west coast. Bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, over the years has become the main seaside resort of southern Morocco.

Agadir is a modern and popular especially for its long beach, 10 kilometers, the relaxed atmosphere and the great hospitality of its citizens.

Sand, sea, sun, make this city rebuilt and redesigned almost entirely following the massive earthquake that destroyed it in 1960, a beautiful resort, green and luxury. Its sandy coasts, its cities and dozens of hotels are a major tourist attraction for the many visitors from Europe, and not only during the winter months.

The city is surrounded by residential areas, but the waterfront is the real wealth: the long sandy beach bathed by clear waters and sun-kissed throughout most of the year. The city does not offer much but it's the perfect place to spend a few days relaxing before leaving for Taroudant or Essaouira.

If you are going to choose Agadir as a destination for your vacation take advantage of the many day trips that will take you to discover the beautiful villages in the surrounding area. 7 miles north of downtown, also, is the Kasbah, built in 1541 and partially survived the earthquake, from where you can enjoy great views.
